Studies on The Stored Blood of Occupational Donor

Abstract
|
|
|
The author investigated dynamic changes in several components of whole blood during storage at 4C _91C.
The results are summarized as follows:
1) Glucose in whole blood decreased rapidly until 21st days of storage.
2) Lactic acid and inorganic phosphorus increased rapidly during the first 7 days and thereafter slowly increased until 21st days of storage.
3) Glucose and inorganic phosphorus levels in occupational donor were within normal limits.
